Sources for 2 eV and 4 eV emission in hexagonal BN have been identified

Nicholas Adamski has been awarded an Outstanding Graduate Student Award by the Solid State Lighting and Energy Electronics Center (SSLEEC) “for outstanding computational studies of novel nitride materials”.

Zhen Zhu, Hartwin Peelaers and Chris Van de Walle published their findings in the high-impact journal Chemistry of Materials.

Each received a prestigious award to help fund their travel to the 2019 APS March Meeting.
