Andrew Rowberg invited to Nobel Laureates Meeting
He was selected as an inaugural UC President’s 2020 Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Fellow
Materials graduate student Andrew Rowberg was selected for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and learn from more than 40 Nobel Laureates this summer in Germany. He is among 660 young scientists from 100 countries selected to participate in the 70th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. This year’s meeting is dedicated to interdisciplinary science between chemistry, physics, and physiology and medicine. This year saw the introduction of the UC President’s Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Fellowship for graduate students from throughout the UC system, and Rowberg was one of two UCSB Materials Department students among the honorees.
