Prof. Chris Van de Walle recognized as a 2022 Highly-Cited Researcher
This marks the sixth year in a row and the seventh time overall that Van de Walle has been named a Highly Cited Researcher.
Professor Chris Van de Walle was named a Highly Cited Researcher in the year of 2022, according to the annual list generated by Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thompson-Reuters). Researchers on the list have demonstrated significant and broad influence in their fields, reflected in their publication of multiple papers that were highly cited by their peers over the past decade. The 2022 list contains 7,225 highly cited researchers in various fields from 69 countries and regions, ten of them from UCSB. Professor Van de Walle has been included in the list six years in a row (2017-2022), an unusual distinction and a strong indication of the sustained impact of his group’s research over a long time.
